GEAPS headquarters are moving to new offices in Minneapolis on Saturday, Aug. 25, and former phone and fax numbers will no longer get you through to the GEAPS staff. The new contact information, effective Monday, Aug. 27, is as follows:
-- New GEAPS office phone: 952-928-4640
-- New fax: 952-929-1318
-- New mailing address: GEAPS, 4248 Park Glen Road, Minneapolis, Minn., 55416
-- The office e-mail address, info@geaps.com, has not changed.
E-mail addresses for staff members also have not changed. They are as follows:

-- David Krejci, executive vice president, secretary -- david@geaps.com
-- Chuck House, manager of communication and professional development -- chouse@geaps.com
-- Amy McGarrigle, manager, member services and information -- amy@geaps.com
-- Joanne Rabatin, operations administration associate -- joanne@geaps.com
-- Jason Stones, manager, member services and publications -- jason@geaps.com
-- Juli Wagner, manager, administration and meeting services -- juli@geaps.com
-- Hope Cook, manager, member services -- hope@geaps.com
-- Jill Hawkins, manager, chapter services -- jill@geaps.com
The GEAPS staff is moving, intact, into an association-management business, the Harrington Co. The Harrington Co. provides executive, program management, operations administration, and clerical support services to more than 20 other international, national, regional and state associations.

According to International President Mike Myrick, the move will allow GEAPS to respond more quickly to changing program service and staffing needs, and provide a range and depth of experience that was not readily available in the previous structure. It will also offer the organization a more efficient way to manage “out-sourced” management services, since additional experienced staffing will be available on site, Myrick said.
